Event Cancellation Policy
Given the nature of our course there might be certain situations, such as bush-fire or flood or other, where the race must be cancelled.
In the case where things are out of our control and or for the safety of runners, others or any other unforeseen circumstance we reserve the right to the cancel the event. On completing your entry registration you agree to this policy. If this is required the process we will be as follows:
As much advance notice as possible will be given to entrants but the nature of the crisis or disruption might allow no more than 12 hours. If this situation occurs organisers will provide updates through the website and race facebook page. A revised start and finish day/time/location where logistically possible will be proposed however if the event needs to be fully cancelled until the following year we reserve the right to do so. If there is any reason why the race is cancelled, entrants agree, when they enter, that race entry fees will be put towards costs already accrued for the race. Any remaining balance can then be distributed to the entrants.
In the occurrence an entrant is required to withdraw from the event for whatever reason they should contact the Race Director as soon as possible.
We will offer $120 refund to a runner who withdraws on or before the 1st October 2021.
Refunds after the 1st October 2021, will be subject to the race management's discretion.
